Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

literally just jumping is a free browser game. We keep things simple and collect as little as we can. This page explains what we handle, and why.

What we collect

We do not ask for your real name, address, location, or any sensitive information.

Why we use it

Only to run the game, show the leaderboard, and protect it from bots, spam and cheating. Nothing else.

Bot protection

To tell real players from bots we use Cloudflare Turnstile. To do this it may process your IP address and signals from your browser and device. It is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare handles this on our behalf — see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Where your data is stored

Leaderboard names and scores are stored with third-party infrastructure providers so the board keeps working between visits. They process this data only to provide that service to us.

What we don’t do

How long we keep it

Leaderboard entries stay while they are relevant to the game, and the IP-based abuse checks are short-lived. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct or delete the data tied to your display name. Just email us and we’ll take care of it.

Children

The game is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
